WACHUSETT COMMUNITY BAND Wachusett Community Band has members who range in age from teenage middle schoolers to those in their 80s. Professional musician and teacher, Lou Borelli, has been the conductor since the band’s founding in 1999. The band plays at several area town locations, including summer bandstand concerts and Christmas concerts in nursing homes. Their music includes marches, show tunes, classical pieces, music from TV & movies, and music from popular artists such as Frank Sinatra, the Beatles & Neil Diamond. Rehearsals are held here at St. Christopher’s church hall on most Monday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wachusett Community Band is a welcoming group and they are always looking for new musicians to join.
